08 Sep 2014 Hendrix College to present performance by the Choir of Clare College Cambridge
The Hendrix College Music Department’s Harold Thompson Recital Series presents a performance by the Choir of Clare College Cambridge, conducted by Graham Ross, at 7:30 p.m. Friday, Sept. 26, in Greene Chapel during Fall Family Weekend at Hendrix.
The event, which is free and open to the public, is co-hosted by Hendrix music professors Dr. Andrew Morgan and Dr. Karen Griebling and First United Methodist Church Conway Chancel Choir conductor Janet Gingerich.
There will be a reception in Trieschmann Gallery, organized by the Office of Alumni and Constituent Engagement, following the concert.

Since the founding of a mixed voice choir in 1971, the Choir of Clare College has gained an international reputation as one of the leading university choral groups. In addition to its primary function of leading services three times a week in the College chapel, the choir keeps an active schedule recording, broadcasting and performing throughout the UK and the world.
