Conference: 2-4A
Coach: Darren Gowan
’17 Record: 8-4
Heber Springs won its second-straight 2-4A title last fall, and the Panthers are primed for another conference title run with a solid core back this year.

The Panthers rotate a group of upperclassmen receivers, including seniors Rocky Finney, Daniel McMullin and Seth Dickeson. Finney pulled in four receiving touchdowns last fall. Seniors Brady Atkins, Justin Bray and Brandon Woods and juniors Christian Wilson and Harley Hannah will move things up front on the offensive line. Senior Julian Cameron was perfect on PATs last fall, and he hit 8-of-10 field goals.
Senior Mario Walle brings experience on the interior defensive line. Wilson and junior Kaden Hughes will lock down the defensive end spots. Juniors Landon Johnson and Fate Berry, senior Tanner Tillman and Nelson defend the middle at the linebacker positions. McMullin, senior Alex Bryant, junior Tri Johnson and sophomore Matthew Cook project as starters in the secondary.

Julian Cameron
Classification: Sr.
Position: K
On the field: Julian is a very accurate kicker who also has a strong leg on kickoffs, and that results in good field position for our defense.
Off the field: Julian is an extremely driven young man. He sets his mind to something, and he works really hard to achieve it, on or off the field. He is a competitive guy and strives to be the best he can be both in athletics and academically.
