19 Nov 2025 Harding’s Webster places Bisons in 70-48 win over Christian Brothers
SEARCY — Freshman guard Reggie Webster scored a game-high 21 points in his home debut to lead Harding to a dominant 70-48 victory over Christian Brothers on Tuesday night at Rhodes-Reaves Field House.

Harding (1-2) used a suffocating defense and a massive scoring run late in the first half to secure their first win of the season, holding Christian Brothers (0-1) to only 30% shooting and four 3-pointers.
The game was tied 12-12 with 13:31 remaining in the first half, but the Bisons took control with a decisive 25-4 scoring run over the rest of the period. Harding’s defense held Christian Brothers to a frigid 24.2% shooting (8-of-33) in the half, including a stretch where the Buccaneers made only one of 20 shots. Christian Brothers was also 0-for-12 from three-point range in the opening 20 minutes.
Webster was the catalyst, scoring 13 of his 21 points in the first half and finishing the night 4-of-10 from beyond the arc. Wesley Booker added 13 points, making 3-of-5 three-pointers, and pulled down a team-high eight rebounds. Thompson Camara contributed 11 points off the bench.
The Bisons’ defense forced 18 Christian Brothers turnovers, leading to a lopsided 24-6 advantage in points off turnovers. Harding controlled the glass, outrebounding CBU 37-29.
Christian Brothers’ leading scorers were Marquis Gill with 15 points and Iman Kheirati with 11. Gill made the team’s first three-pointer with 13:07 left, though the Buccaneers struggled all night, missing their first 14 attempts from deep. Turner Duncan chipped in 11 points.
Harding, which led 37-16 at the break, never trailed after the 17:52 mark of the first half and led by as many as 29 points in the second half.
Harding’s next action is at 7 p.m. tonight against Southwest Baptist.
