RUSSELLVILLE — The Great American Conference announced its women’s soccer players of the week for the seventh week of the season, with Harding senior Whitney Thomas earning the Offensive Player of the Week honor.

Whitney Thomas, a senior forward from Benbrook, Texas, scored her third goal of the season, converting a penalty kick in the Lady Bisons’ 2-0 victory over Ouachita Baptist. The goal broke a personal nine-game scoreless streak for Thomas. The win moved the Lady Bisons into a tie for third place in the conference standings.
