SEARCY – Harding senior punter Ryan Fox was named D2Football.com National Special Teams Player of the Week on Wednesday.

Fox, a native of Searcy, Arkansas, punted three times in Harding’s 41-10 victory over No. 5 Ouachita Baptist on Saturday. He averaged 45.0 yards per punt, landed all three inside the 20-yard line and had a career-best punt of 57 yards. Ouachita’s starting field position after the three punts was their own 13-yard line.

Fox and the Bisons will be back in action Saturday at the USA Murphy Classic in El Dorado, Arkansas. Kickoff between Harding and Southern Arkansas will be at 2 p.m. at Memorial Stadium.
