RUSSELLVILLE — The Great American Conference announced its volleyball players of the week for the ninth week of the season, and Harding’s Maddie Burrough was honored with the Defensive Player of the Week award.

Maddie Burrough collected a match-high 19 digs as the Lady Bisons defeated Arkansas-Monticello in three sets to maintain their second-place standing in the league with four games left in the season. The 19 digs represent her highest total in a three-set match this season, surpassing the 18 she posted against Southwest Baptist earlier in the year.
