Harding University presenting USAF concert

The Harding University concert series will continue with a performance by the United States Air Force Band and the Singing Sergeants at 7 p.m. Friday, April 8, in Benson Auditorium.

The USAF Band was formed in 1941 and strives to represent the U.S. Air Force and inspire patriotism. The band has performed across the country at morale boosting events for servicemen and women and for high-ranking government officials including the president of the United States.

The Singing Sergeants is the official chorus of the U.S. Air Force and is one of six musical ensembles in the USAF Band. The chorus consists of 23 active duty airmen musicians and performs more than 200 times a year across the country.

Advance tickets are available at the University music office, Searcy High School band office, Harding Academy band office and Riverview band office. For more information, contact the Harding University music department at 501.279.4343.
