25 Jun 2025 Harding Softball places three with College Sports Communicators’ honors
SEARCY – The Harding softball program continues to excel not only on the diamond, but in the classroom, as three of its outstanding student-athletes have been recognized with prestigious College Sports Communicators (CSC) Academic All-District® honors. Riley Price, Macy Ham, and Kaya Lee were all selected for the NCAA Division II team.

The Lady Bisons concluded their impressive season with an overall record of 39-18 and boasted a 21-12 record in Great American Conference (GAC) play.
To be eligible for Academic All-District consideration, a student-athlete must have reached sophomore eligibility academically and athletically, be a significant contributor on the field and maintain a minimum cumulative grade-point average (GPA) of 3.50.
Kaya Lee, a senior from Frisco, Texas, has been an integral part of the Lady Bisons’ success both offensively and defensively. She holds an impressive 3.53 GPA while majoring in sport and recreation management. On the field, Lee led the team with a remarkable .427 batting average, recording 82 hits in 57 games played and swiping 32 bases in 36 attempts. Her strong defensive play was evident with a .972 fielding percentage.
Joining Lee on the Academic All-District team is Macy Ham, a senior from Arrington, Tennessee. She received a degree in sport and recreation management with an outstanding 3.93 GPA. Ham’s contributions to the team this season included a .350 batting average in 57 games, collecting 62 hits and driving in 10 RBIs. She showcased her speed with four triples and was nearly perfect on the base paths with 39 stolen bases on 41 attempts. Ham was also flawless in the field with a 1.000 fielding percentage in center field.
Rounding out the trio of honorees is Riley Price, a senior from Edgewood, Texas. A psychology major with a 3.75 GPA, Price was a vital component of the Lady Bisons’ pitching staff. She posted an impressive 1.76 ERA with a 13-8 record in 28 appearances (15 starts). Price threw 99.2 innings, striking out 39 batters and allowing only 25 earned runs.
The CSC Academic All-District® teams are voted on by College Sports Communicators members across the nation.
