Harding football attended White House College Champions Day

SEARCY — More than 30 members of Harding’s NCAA II National Championship football team attended the White House College Champions Day on July 22, in Washington, D.C.

The event honored all of the NCAA’s 90 national champions from the 2023-24 school year and was held on the South Lawn. Teams participated in a self-guided tour of the White House. One representative from each championship team joined the speakers on stage. 

About 40-45 championship teams are expected to attend.

Harding went 15-0 in 2023, winning the first football national championship in program history. The Bisons were 11-0 in winning the Great American Conference championship, and defeated Colorado School of Mines 38-7 at the national championship game in McKinney, Texas.
