04 Jun 2025 Harding claims both GAC All-Sports trophies for fourth consecutive year
RUSSELLVILLE, Ark. – On Monday, the Great American Conference announced Harding University as the winner of both the 2024-25 Commissioner’s Cup and the President’s Trophy. For an incredible fourth-straight season, the Bisons and Lady Bisons have captured both All-Sports championships.

The GAC awards the Commissioner’s Cup to the school that racks up the most cumulative points across 14 countable sports: men’s and women’s cross country, football, volleyball, women’s soccer, men’s and women’s basketball, women’s tennis, men’s and women’s track & field, men’s and women’s golf, softball, and baseball. The President’s Trophy celebrates the program with the highest percentage of points based on the sports they sponsor.
This year marks the sixth time Harding has won the Commissioner’s Cup and our fourth President’s Trophy. Harding set GAC records for:
- Total points: 119
- Points margin: 35
- Percentage of points won: 84.4
While the Bisons secured titles in football and men’s track & field, the consistency across all programs made the difference. Harding had 13 of its 14 countable sports finish inside the top four, with men’s cross-country, women’s soccer, volleyball, women’s basketball, men’s golf, women’s tennis, and women’s track & field all placing second or tied for second.
