10 Oct 2016 Ground-breaking set at Fairfield Bay
The largest investment in Fairfield Bay in a quarter century will be commemorated at 2:30 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 18, when state and local officials as well as guests join together to officially break ground on the long-awaited and highly anticipated Osage Point Luxury Townhome development.
This $5 million private investment will be the most aggressive single-family residential construction project in Fairfield Bay in more than 25 years.
The new Ozark Resort Homes construction site is located at 721 Woodlawn Dr.
“Fairfield Bay is growing and our community partners are enthusiastically responding,” said Mayor Paul Wellenberger. “Ozark Resort Homes’ investment in Fairfield Bay is the largest made in over 25 years. This new housing development makes Fairfield Bay even more attractive and appealing, and continues to shine a light on this beautiful city. The confidence in our town just keeps building – literally. It doesn’t matter which corner of Fairfield Bay you’re in, there’s improvement and investment being made everywhere.”
Osage Point project will be a unique 20-townhome development, with stunning panoramic views of Greers Ferry Lake. Owners will see this panoramic view from the kitchen, living room, master bedroom, dining room, loft, patio and even the front entry.
The project’s developers are part of the community fabric. Noacon partners Mike Lester (chief financial officer) and Wayne Harlan (director of field operations) will be heading up the ground breaking and sharing the beauty and uniqueness of their Townhome development.
"As a resident of Fairfield Bay for more than 35 years, we are thrilled to have this opportunity to work in partnership with the City of Fairfield Bay, the Fairfield Bay Community Club and Ozark Resort Homes,” said Lester. “This exciting project will bring a new chapter to the growth of this beautiful area we call home!"
"The Osage Point project is thrilling,” continued Harlan. “I have been involved in and managed construction of residential and commercial projects in Fairfield Bay, around Greers Ferry Lake and across Arkansas since the early 1980s. There is such a renewed passion in Fairfield Bay, to see this town flourish and expose this wonderful lake and amenities to those who have not discovered this place. We are so proud to be a part of this."
