Greenbrier elementary school students, faculty and family recently participated in a special event to promote health and wellness.

The Light Up the Night 5K was held recently with all four Greenbrier elementary schools participating – Westside, Springhill, Eastside and Wooster. The event was held at Springhill Elementary.

More than 220 runners competed. Asher Adamson, a fourth-grader at Greenbrier Westside Elementary, was the overall race winner.

Organizers received a grant from the Conway Regional Women’s Council to help fund the 5K.
