This year’s Greenbrier Christmas Parade recognized the accomplishments of a special group of young people – the local high school football team and its coach.
The 17th annual parade was held Dec. 6 and coach Randy Tribble along with the Greenbrier High School Football Team were the grand marshals.
The parade is sponsored by the Greenbrier Lions Club.
The team posted an impressive undefeated season and was conference champions going into post-season play.
The Panthers finished the season 11-1.
The parade, a chili cookoff and a tree-lighting ceremony were coordinated by the Greenbrier Lions Club, the Greenbrier Chamber of Commerce and the City of Greenbrier.
