Golf tournament benefits Ronald McDonald House Charities

CONWAY — A Superintendent’s Revenge Golf Tournament will be held Oct. 11 at Conway Country Club and half of the proceeds will be donated to Ronald McDonald House Charities of Arkansas and North Louisiana.

“This is my second year raising money for the Ronald McDonald House Charities through this golf tournament, and my seventh year of raising money for them through other events,” said Richard Woodall, Golf Course Superintendent at the Conway Country Club. “We hope that we can fill this tournament up and make it bigger and better every year.”

Woodall describes the “Superintendent’s Revenge Tournament” as one where he will deliberately set up unusual and challenging features on the course, such as extreme pin placements, unexpected hazards or unique hole modifications that will test golfers’ skills in a fun and formidable way.
