02 Apr 2012 Golf Ball Drop planned for May 31

The drop is an annual event organized by the organization to raise funds, awareness and foster partnerships between Independent Living Services and surrounding businesses in the community. Golf balls are made available to the public for purchase through donations. Each ball is given a number which corresponds to the purchasers receipt number. On the day of the drop, these balls are dropped from a hot air balloon over a target hole. The owner of the ball that lands in or closest to the target hole will win $2,012.

Other festivities include family friendly fun and entertainment, as well as food provided by Centennial Bank.
