The Arkansas Community Foundation recently hosted its annual presentation ceremony, awarding Giving Tree grants totaling $29,000 for non-profits in Faulkner County. 

The 2010 grants were awarded to 15 non-profit organizations: American Red Cross/Faulkner County, Arkansas Rice Depot, Bethlehem House, Boys and Girls Club of Faulkner County, City of Conway/EcoFest, City of Greenbrier/Kidzcamp, Community Action Program for Central Arkansas, Conway Cradle Care, Conway Interfaith Clinic, Court Appointed Special Advocates/20th Judicial District, Faulkner County Council on Aging, Faulkner County Council on Development Disabilities, Make A Child Smile of Central Arkansas, Pine Street Community Development Center/Backpack Program, and Soul Food Café Mission.

“These 15 non-profit organizations change lives in our community,” said Julie LaRue, executive director of the Arkansas Community Foundation/Faulkner County. “Each group is committed to serving the underserved.”
