10 Nov 2025 Girl Scouts-Diamonds announces Chief Resource Officer
LITTLE ROCK — Girl Scouts – Diamonds of Arkansas, Oklahoma and Texas has appointed Megan Davenport as chief resource officer, effective Oct. 27, 2025. Davenport will lead fundraising initiatives, communications strategy and property management to support the council’s mission of building girls of courage, confidence and character who make the world a better place.

Davenport brings more than 20 years of experience in nonprofit leadership, most recently serving as director of membership at Crystal Bridges Museum of American Art and the Momentary. “Megan’s proven track record in resource development and strategic communications makes her the perfect leader to launch this critical role,” said Mary Grace Herrington, president and chief executive officer of Girl Scouts – Diamonds. “As we continue to expand our reach, Megan’s expertise will be instrumental in securing the resources needed to serve even more girls in our communities.”
Before joining Crystal Bridges, Davenport spent nearly two decades at Winrock International, where she held multiple leadership positions, including senior director of donor engagement/director corporate initiatives and director of communications. During her tenure, she advanced philanthropic partnerships, led brand strategy and digital transformation and ensured consistent organizational alignment across global programs.
Davenport holds a master’s degree in interpersonal and organizational communication from the University of Arkansas at Little Rock.
