CONWAY — The University of Central Arkansas Public Appearances will present Gin Blossoms with special guest Spin Doctors at 7 p.m., Tuesday, Sept. 9, at Reynolds Performance Hall.

Multiplatinum rock legends Gin Blossoms along with Spin Doctors are making a stop in Conway as part of an electrifying tour across the country.
Gin Blossoms is an American alternative rock band formed in 1987 in Tempe, Arizona. The band rose to prominence following the 1992 release of their first major label debut album, “New Miserable Experience,” and the first single released from that album, “Hey Jealousy,” became a Top 25 hit and went gold. “New Miserable Experience” eventually went quadruple platinum, and three other charting singles were released from the album including “Allison Road” and “Until I Fall Away.” The band’s follow-up album, “Congratulations I’m Sorry” (1996), went platinum including the GRAMMY-nominated “As Long as It Matters” and the Top 10 single “Follow You Down.” Gin Blossoms continue to tour every year and in recent years have shared the stage with Collective Soul, Barenaked Ladies and Hootie & The Blowfish.
Originating from New York City in the late ’80s, Spin Doctors are best known for their multiplatinum album “Pocket Full of Kryptonite,” which sold 10 million albums worldwide and featured hits like the GRAMMY-nominated “Two Princes” and “Little Miss Can’t Be Wrong.” Spin Doctors remain a force in rock music, blending funk, alternative rock and pop into their sound. The band released their first album in 12 years, “Face Full of Cake,”in April via Capitol Records.

UCA Public Appearances has continued to grow each year and now offers five unique series: Broadway, POPS, Night Out, An Evening With, and the Windgate Collection. Reynolds Performance Hall has also welcomed over 70,000 pre-K-12th grade students from across the state of Arkansas to experience live performing arts through the Main Stage Education Series. This series educates while entertaining and provides arts accessibility to all students.
Tickets range from $34.50 to $57.50 for adults and $11.50 for children/students. Prices for tickets are all in. The cost of the ticket is visible upfront, including fees before taxes.
