The Pulaski Oak Grove Hornets went 7-4 in 2008, finishing in a tie for third in the 7-4A.

The Hornets started with 4-0, lost three straight and then won three straight to finish the season. Oak Grove finished the year with a 41-6 loss at Warren in the first round of the state playoffs.

Senior tailback Tim Johnson (5-6, 150) returns with speed and elusiveness. Johnson rushed for more than 800 yards in 2008. Seniors Corbin McCuien (5-11, 170) and Shaquille Spearman (5-9, 165) will also see time at tailback.

Darelle Jackson (5-10, 185) leads the defense at linebacker. The senior racked up more than 100 tackles in 2008.

The Hornets will face off against DeQueen, Nashville, Ashdown and Malvern in the 7-4A.
