The Little Rock Mills Comets just missed making the playoffs in 2008, finishing 5-5 and tied for fifth in the 5A-Southeast.

Chris Hampton (5-8, 165) takes over at quarterback. Senior Patrick Johnny (6-1, 190) is Hampton’s primary receiving option.

Johnny caught four touchdowns in 2008. Junior Jalen Garmon (6-0, 260) anchors the Comets’ offensive line at guard.

Senior Rico Perkins (5-10, 260) returns for his third season at nose guard. Senior Anthony Brizzell (5-10, 230) packs a punch for the Comets at middle linebacker.

Little Rock Mills will battle alongside Crossett and Beebe for a chance to crack into the top four in the 5A-Southeast.
