Five UACCM programs were recently granted accreditation

The University of Arkansas Community College at Morrilton (UACCM) has been granted accreditation on the following programs: AAS – Computer Information Systems Technology; AAS – Computer Aided Drafting & Design Technology; AAS – Industrial Mechanics & Maintenance Technology; AAS – Surveying; and AAS – Business.

The programs were granted accreditation by The Association of Technology, Management, and Applied Engineering (ATMAE) Board of Accreditation.

“UACCM takes seriously the importance of ATMAE accreditation,” said UACCM Chancellor Lisa Willenberg.

“I appreciate the efforts of both the ATMAE Board of Accreditation and the UACCM team responsible for the completion of the progress report, namely UACCM Dean of Science, Technology, and Mathematics Robert Keeton.”

The ATMAE accreditation joins a list of over a dozen accreditations and approvals that UACCM currently holds, including The Higher Learning Commission, Arkansas Division of Higher Education, Arkansas State Board of Nursing, Association of Nutrition and Foodservice Professionals, and more.

The ATMAE-accredited programs will be eligible for ATMAE reaccreditation in 2026.
