Fishing derby at Pinnacle State Park

Pinnacle Mountain State Park will host its annual Kids’ Fishing Derby from 8 a.m. to 10 a.m. Saturday, June 4, at the park’s Environmental Education Pond.

The event is free of charge and for children ages 15 and under. Snacks, water and registration goodie bags will be provided to all participants. Prizes in several categories, including largest and smallest fish, will be awarded, as well as several door prizes. A casting contest will take place at 9 a.m. for those wishing to show off their skills.
