28 Dec 2012 First Security finishes renovation
The First Security Bank location in Downtown Conway recently hosted a reception to mark completion of the office’s renovation.
The remodel – under the direction of Cone Construction Inc. – began in June and included re-location of the teller line and the creation of a new office in the lobby. New windows were also installed on the north side of the building. The upstairs was remodeled to create three offices.
The building is on the National Historic Registry and there is a lot of history behind the structure. Included in the project was the placement of historic photos of Conway by Bill Ward and presented by Pictures Etc. along the second floor area that overlooks the lobby.
