Faulkner County Library to host ComiCon-way

The Faulkner County Library will host ComiCon-way, Arkansas’ premier comic, anime, sci-fi and gaming convention on Friday, Saturday and Sunday, Nov. 8, 9 and 10.

With the goal of bringing appreciation to the art, entertainment and benefits of comics, graphic novels and gaming, the show will include a panel of creators, writers, and artists. Featured events include: gaming tournaments, costume contest, art contest, the 501st Legion, the Tardis from Dr. Who, zombie photo op, trivia contest, give-a-ways, Artemis space simulator, vendors and a mini-hero’s corner that will include a coloring book for kids to have autographed by guests. Guests include: Erik Larsen, an original founders and CFO of Image Comics, Joe Staton, Sam de la Rosa, Joe Eisma, Jeremy Haun, Tom Feister, R. K.  Post, Chris Giarrusso, Jacob Chabot, Mike Curtis, John Lucas, Dusty Higgins, Ron Wolfe, Van Jensen, Brian Steward, Stuart Berryhill and Travis Langley.
