24 Oct 2013 Faulkner County Library to host ComiCon-way
The Faulkner County Library will host ComiCon-way, Arkansas’ premier comic, anime, sci-fi and gaming convention on Friday, Saturday and Sunday, Nov. 8, 9 and 10. With the goal of bringing appreciation to the art, entertainment and benefits of comics, graphic novels and gaming, the show will include a panel of creators, writers and artists. Featured events include: gaming tournaments, costume contest, art contest, the 501st Legion, the Tardis from Dr. Who, zombie photo op, trivia contest, give-a-ways, Artemis space simulator, vendors and a mini-hero’s corner that will include a coloring book for kids to have autographed by guests.
