15 Apr 2012 Faulkner County Girl Scouts plan centennial celebration
Faulkner County Girl Scouts will be celebrating the group’s 100th anniversary with festivities planned 1-4 p.m. Sunday, April 22, at Simon Park in Downtown Conway.
Girl Scouts will be showcasing the 100 years into 10 decades in entertainment and costume.
There will also be scrapbooks detailing troop activities on display.
Refreshments will be served, including S’mores.
Past Girl Scout leaders and scouts who attend will be given a special pin to wear at the celebration.
In addition to the event, a display of Girl Scout memorabilia is on display at the Faulkner County Library to commemorate the centennial.
