Mayflower United Methodist Women will host a fall bazaar and bake sale at 7 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 7.  

There will be traditional fried pies (cooked in peanut oil) in a variety of flavors, including apple, cherry, peach, apricot, blueberry and chocolate. There are extremely limited quantities, so hurry in for the best selection!  

There will also be home preserved jams and jellies, pickles, salsa, etc.  

The event will include a large selection of good used clothing, books, small appliances and assorted home décor.  Organizers are also selling chances on a lovely quilt that can be seen at Linda’s Grocery in Mayflower. The quilt, queen size and hand embroidered, was donated by a member, Cheryl Brannon.
