15 Dec 2013 Exhibits planned at Baum Gallery
Several exhibits will open Thursday, Jan. 16, at the University of Central Arkansas Baum Gallery of Fine Art.
Exhibits include Whispers from the Sea by Deb Schwedhelm; Paper Construction by Kirsten Kindler; Drawing Blood & Guts: The Best of Contemporary Medical Illustration curated by medical illustrator Alexandra Baker; and A Place for All Bad Memories: An Interactive Installation inspired by Miranda July’s “Learning to Love You More” in collaboration with Hendrix College. A reception is planed 5 to 7 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 16.
The gallery is open 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday, 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Thursday and 1 to 5 p.m. Sunday.
The exhibits will run through Wednesday, Feb. 20.
