04 Nov 2013 Empty Bowls event helps fight hunger
The second annual Bethlehem House “Empty Bowls” fundraiser is scheduled 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 10, to provide for the needs of the homeless and nearly homeless.
Guests are invited to enjoy a meal of soup, bread and dessert made by local restaurants and volunteers. The event will be held at oneChurch, 1058 Front St.
Also, local artisans and vendors will display a variety of items for sale in the Empty Bowls Marketplace.
The cost for the meal is $10 per person, and vegetarian and gluten-free soups and desserts will be available. Children under 10 eat free.
This event coincides with Conway’s Downtown Christmas Open House.
