09 Dec 2024 Elementary school hosts holiday event to raise money for playground equipment

CONWAY — The second annual Jim Stone Elementary Winterfest will be held from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. on Sunday, Dec. 15, at 4255 College Avenue.

With the theme “Hollywood Holidays” the event is open to the public.

Proceeds will be used to raise funds for new playground equipment at the elementary school. The building will be transformed into a winter wonderland with games, food, face painting and outdoor activities.

Plus, there’s a rumor that a special guest in a red suit might stop by for photos!
