09 Dec 2013 Edward Jones office plans drive to benefit Boys and Girls Club
Edward Jones associates are sponsoring a special drive to help young people.
Financial advisor Lisa Lovell and branch office administrator Linda Nekonchuk are inviting customers to donate new or gently used books (for ages 6-12), arts and crafts supplies, ping pong paddles and/or balls and board games. The items are being collected at the Edward Jones office, 2605 Prince St., and will be presented to the Boys and Girls Club of Faulkner County.
“Linda and I are collecting supplies for the Boys and Girls Club as our Christmas project and in the spirit of 501 LIFE, our clients and friends are making it a huge success,” said Lisa.
In a letter sent to customers, Lisa shared the mission of the Boys and Girls Club – “to empower and equip young people to reach their full potential as responsible, productive and caring citizens.”
Donated items will be accepted through Monday, Dec. 16.
“The young people are the future of our community; we would like to invest in their well-being,” said Lisa.
