Meet author Duke Warren Kittle at the Faulkner County Library at 2 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 2. Kittle is the author of “The Dragon Eater,” a young adult fantasy novel.

In the world Kittle creates, mink, wolverines, bulls, rabbits and mice solve an intriguing mystery on the imaginary planet of Cella. The heroine is a wizard who carries her home/office in a locket around her neck. When Tina needs to be "home" and goes through the appropriate magic steps, she recreates it virtually anywhere.

Kittle will talk about his writing process and is particularly interested in addressing the ambitions of young authors.
