10 Mar 2013 'Duck Dynasty' members to appear at LoveLoud event at Greenbrier
Three cast members of the popular television show “Duck Dynasty” will be among the guests at the LoveLoud Family Festival on Saturday, April 6, in Greenbrier.
The event – coordinated by CrossPoint Baptist Church – will include “meet and greet” opportunities with Mountain Man, John Godwin and Martin from “Duck Dynasty” and Miss Arkansas Sloane Roberts.
This family event is designed for people of all ages and is being billed as having “something for everyone.” The concept of LoveLoud grew out of the minds of the pastoral staff at CrossPoint Baptist Church and is an event that is recognized and well attended in Central Arkansas.
The idea of the event, according to lead pastor Danny Smith is to “extend the love of a Savior to a hurting world by providing a tangible way to experience the greatness of who the church is in Jesus.”
“We realize that many, many people have been hurt by the church, and we want this to be an event where people can experience the love of Jesus in a real way,” Smith said.
The event will also include several local acts including Eastside Elementary Choir, the University of Central Arkansas Honeybears Dance Team and mascot, MagicMan-Derrick Rose and a band named Washington Avenue.
When not listening to a concert, attendees can take part in the many free games and activities of the KidsZone and family fest including bounce houses, face painting and balloons. The entire event will conclude with a concert performance by the Contemporary Christian duo Shane and Shane.
“LoveLoud is a place that you and your family can be safe, have fun and save money!”
There is a $10 charge per family or $3 per individual.
