12 Oct 2015 Dessert fundraiser at UACCM

The University of Arkansas Community College at Morrilton Foundation will host its 13th annual Just Desserts fundraiser from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 15, in the UACCM Plaza. Tickets are $15 each or $25 per couple.

Just Desserts includes an all-you-can-eat dessert buffet, gourmet coffee bar, dessert auction, raffle and super raffle. In addition to the array of sweets, an assortment of savory snacks including Petit Jean meat and cheese trays is part of the food selection. The John Cotton Quartet will provide entertainment for the evening.

This year, the Foundation will auction desserts and dessert-related items such as cake stands, cake servers, gift certificates and more. The raffle will feature many great prizes, including two different cooking classes with the Winthrop Rockefeller Institute’s Chef Robert Hall.

Food for the event is donated by area bakeries and restaurants as well as UACCM faculty, staff and Foundation Board members. The UACCM Foundation is currently seeking sponsorships and donations of desserts and savory dishes as well as auction and raffle items.

Tickets are available at uaccm.edu and sponsorship and donation information is available there as well. Tickets may be purchased from any UACCM Foundation Board member or at the door the night of the event.
