The December “Celebrating Christmas” issue of 501 LIFE will be highlighted on KARK Channel 4 during the 12:30 p.m. show on Tuesday, Nov. 29.

Each month, 501 LIFE publisher and editor Sonja Keith presents information about the current edition.

“It’s that wonderful time of the year when we deck the halls, indulge in delicious food and enjoy the fellowship of family and friends,” said Keith. “In this month’s edition, we have a variety of holiday-related stories – from decorations at the Arkansas Governor’s Mansion and vintage holiday décor to information on some of the special events that help celebrate this festive season.”

Stories to be highlighted during the segment include:

Travel (by Linda Henderson) – The 501 is home to many wonderful holiday light displays and beautiful Christmas trees. Linda shares some of her favorite holiday favorites, including Garvan Woodland Gardens in Hot Springs, which is featured on the cover of this month’s edition.

Feature (by Don Bingham) – The Arkansas Governor’s Mansion is decked out in its Christmas splendor to welcome guests throughout the holiday season.

Entertaining (by Don Bingham) – Gingerbread is a holiday favorite and Don shares some tried and true recipes perfect for the season.

Home – Conway Corp offers some wonderful tips to help save energy during the holidays.
