20 Feb 2012 'Dance with the Stars' planned Saturday

Choosing to Excel will host its sixth annual fundraising event "Dance with the Stars & Conway’s Got Talent" at 6:30 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 25, at the James H. Clark Auditorium in Conway.

Proceeds from the ticket sales will benefit outreach mentor programs and children of prisoners.

Celebrity hosts for the event include former Miss Conway, Brandi Adams, and former Miss Arkansas, Alyse Eady.

The event will include a dancing portion and a talent portion as well as several performances from various school principals, the superintendent, various faculty members and some of last year’s winners. Senator Jason Rapert is also expected to perform.

In addition to the show, this year’s fundraiser includes a raffle for a 2010 Toyota Prius provided by Crain Automotive.
