20 Apr 2015 Conway Symphony Guild plans Jazz It Up
The Conway Symphony Orchestra Guild will present its Jazz It Up fundraiser Thursday, May 28, at SWN in The Village at Hendrix.
The event represents a fun evening of live music by the Shannon Boshears Band with delicious food, silent and live auctions and items that will be available through a drawing. Some of the auction items include Tom Chandler Interior Designs $650 tuition for a fall class; a makover package for new hair color/cut, makeup and clothing by a local boutique with the winner featured in a future issue of 501 LIFE; a night’s stay at Red Apple Inn with a round of golf for two; dinner for two at Murry’s Dinner Playhouse; and many more wonderful “one of a kind” experiences and opportunities.
Jazz It Up committee members that are putting together this exciting evening are Dr. Mary Mosley, CSOG president; co-chairmen Pam Strassle and Sandra Hudson; Bev Freiley; Margaret Palmer; Joyce Miller; Bonnie Stidham; Pat Baker; Arlene Beibesheimer; Gloria Cheshier and Susan Devorak.
Tickets are $40 prior to the event or $50 at the door. Proceeds will be used to keep ticket prices affordable to CSO concerts as well as provide free concerts for the community and educational outreach programs in area schools.
