Conway Regional Medical Center and the Arkansas Blood Institute are giving Faulkner County residents the opportunity to pay it forward on Tuesday, March 8, and Wednesday, March 9.

A blood drive will be held 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Tuesday and 7 a.m. to 1 p.m. Wednesday in the Conway Regional Auditorium on the medical center campus at 2302 College Ave.

The Arkansas Blood Institute is the new provider for blood services at Conway Regional. The Oklahoma-based organization supplies blood to 22 other Arkansas hospitals and is the ninth largest non-profit blood center in the country.

The need for blood is constant to help treat patients for trauma, surgeries, burns, cancer and sickle cell disease.
