10 Aug 2015 Conway Public Schools launches new mobile app

The Conway School District has announced a new way to help parents, students and the community stay connected with schools.

The Conway Public Schools Mobile App is available for free download in the app store for iPhones and on Google Play for android users.

The app will give people immediate and convenient access to information and notifications from Conway schools on their mobile phones and devices, where they will use it the most.

"We are excited to offer another opportunity for our parents and community to stay connected to our district,” said Dr. Greg Murry, superintendent of Conway Public Schools. “Our new app will be a great ‘landing place’ for anyone who wants to be informed of what is going on in the Conway Public Schools."

The Conway Schools mobile app will include a school district calendar and district news section. It can be customized by each user with a login and password, which will allow each parent to see specific student information and receive notifications specific to their child’s school.  

Parents can login to see a student’s cafeteria balance, class schedules and attendance information. There is also a school directory for each school building, as well as social media feeds, school bus information and lunch menus.

The Conway Public School District will use the app to notify parents of important information such as school closings.

“The app gives us another way to get in touch with our parents when we need to communicate important information quickly and accurately.” said Murry. “This is always a priority for us.”
