CONWAY — The Conway Morning Optimist Club presented a check on Sept. 17 for $300 to the Bob Courtway Middle School. Principal David Yates received the donation.

Club President Marcia Wright, Members Rene Henderson and C.H. Turner, Sec./Treasurer Rob Denning, VP Ronnie Burton and Principal David Yates.

“We are proud of Bob Courtway Middle School and Conway School District,” said Club President Marcia Wright. “We have our annual Fishing Derby at their Spirit Pond across the street from the school, and we wanted to support the school’s challenges and to help the teachers and students.”
