31 Mar 2025 Conway hosts firefighter testing later this month

If you or someone you know is interested in testing to become a firefighter, take the entry-level exam at 9 a.m. Monday, April 21, at the Conway Expo Center. The second part of the exam is the physical agility exam that will be held at 7 a.m. at the Conway Fire Training Facility. The deadline for signing up is 11:45 p.m. on Wednesday, April 9.

The requirements for candidates are to be a U.S. Citizen, have a high school diploma or GED, no felony convictions, possess a valid driver’s license and be 21-35 years of age (unless 2+ years of previous experience as a paid firefighter and who years of experience when subtracted from your age leaves a remainder of no more than 32 years.) There are bonus points for Paramedics (+5), firefighters 1 & 2 and EMT (+2).
