Conway County plans program culminating Centennial year

The year-long Conway County Library Centennial Celebration will soon draw to a close, but not before organizers offer a culminating program at noon Wednesday, Oct.12.

The GFWC Pathfinders will sponsor the program and will feature Linda Green, Janna Virden and Sandy Davies as guest speakers on the history of the library.

Linda has performed some extensive research, and will provide an informative and interesting program, with some fascinating facts about the library that may surprise those in attendance.

The Pathfinders will present the gift basket and be decorating the Witt cabinet this month.

Light refreshment will be available.

At 1 p.m., after the program, there will be an aerial hands-around the library photo shoot. Federal and local politicians and other dignitaries have been invited and the Morrilton Primary School will be bussing their entire student population to take part.

Don’t miss out on a chance to make history and show support of the library on its 100th anniversary.

Call the library at 501.354.5204 for more on this event and the year-long Centennial Celebration.
