02 Jun 2011 Conway County plans music, fireworks and fun

The event features fireworks over the Arkansas River as the grand finale to an event filled with fun for all ages. Performances on the main stage will feature two bands: RELIC and The Wheels along with Rebecca Rohlman. MSG Vince Sherrill, known to bass fishermen from tournaments and his fishing show, will be on hand displaying the Arkansas National Guard’s boat.
 
Hot dogs, watermelon & lemonade will be free along with everything else at this patriotic celebration. Activities include an adult soft ball tournament, children’s games, watermelon eating contest & an apple pie baking competition. Patriotism will be front and center with 1000 red, white & blue balloons given away and 200 American Flags on display.
