Conway County Library to begin bookmobile routes

The Conway County Library will soon begin starting routes for its new bookmobile.

According to library director Jay Carter, the library plans to cover all points within the county with a one-month timeframe with a complete mobile library collection, including books and audiobooks for all ages.

“Our plan is to begin routes in September, with stops that include Petit Jean Mountain: The Museum of Automobiles, Oppelo City Hall, Blackwell Liquor, Plumerville City Hall, Menifee City Hall, Decker’s Grocery at Springfield, DeSalvo’s Store at Birdtown, Nemo Vista school, Austin Grocery, Beeson’s Grocery Hattieville, Nick’s Grocery at Saint Vincent, Circle H Store at Jerusalem and Cleveland Grocery.

“We wish to thank all of our site hosts for working with the library and allowing us to stop at their locations. This is a community-wide effort and we look forward to providing full library services to residents outside Morrilton. We are in the midst of finalizing route schedules and will have those available shortly on our website and Facebook page.”
