Conway County Library celebrating 100 years

The 100 Year Celebration of the Conway County Library recently kicked off with the presentation of joint proclamations between county and city officials, library staff, GFWC Pathfinder members, Conway County Board of Directors,  members of the Friends of the Library, patrons and volunteers on the steps of the historic Carnegie Library.

This is the beginning of a year-long celebration with events scheduled for each month at the library.

The GRWC Pathfinders founded the library 100 years ago to provide a lending library to the residents of Conway County.

Conway County Library Director Jay Carter presents Conway County Library Board of Directors Chairman and Pathfinder President Janna Virden the first commemorative 100-year anniversary library card.

“This will be a great year for our library to showcase our services and our history with our county,” said Conway County Library Board of Directors Chairman and Pathfinder President Janna Virden.
