01 Feb 2016 Conway Corp’s Carroll earns PPM certification

Conway Corp Chief Financial Officer Bret Carroll recently earned his Public Power Manger (PPM) certification from the American Public Power Association.

To earn a PPM certificate, participants must complete three required courses and submit a plan that outlines an issue, challenge or opportunity within their organization and work through it by applying six key leadership principles: accountability, character, community, empowerment, service and sustainability.

“The public power industry is complex and always changing,” said Conway Corp CEO Richard Arnold. “This APPA program is designed to prepare participants to provide organizational direction and leadership. This certification demonstrates Bret’s knowledge and skill in this area. We are proud to have him on our leadership team.”

Carroll will be recognized at the APPA National Conference scheduled in June.
