Conway Corp Channel 5 will air a special on the 2015-2016 Conway Lady Cats basketball team. The team finished the season 30-2 and made their third straight trip to the championship game in Hot Springs.

’15-’16 Lady Cats – Above The Rim will feature highlights from the state tournament games in Cabot and the state championship game in Hot Springs as well as an interview with Head Coach Ashley Nance and the five starters, Fut’ra Banks, Hailey Estes, Maggie Evans, Savannah Lowe and Alexis Tolefree.

Above The Rim will premiere at 8:30 p.m. Wednesday, March 23, on Conway Corp Channel 5 and will be rebroadcast at 8:30 p.m. each night through Sunday, March 27. The special will also be available on Local Video OnDemand and on Conway Corp Channel 5’s YouTube channel.

“This was an unbelievable season for the Lady Cats. They won 30 games, made a third straight trip to the finals and were ranked nationally – it was a thrill to watch all season,” 5 Sports Host Jeff Matthews said. “We wanted to not only highlight the season, but also give the community a chance to get to know these students. I think they’ll like what you see.”
