Conway Christian plans event on internet safety

Conway Christian School will host a citywide event for parents focused on internet safety at 6 p.m. Monday, Feb. 5, in the school gymnasium.

The goal for the evening will be to raise awareness, provide direction and ultimately equip parents with the tools necessary to teach children how to navigate social media and the internet safely.

The event will be conducted by state and local leaders who are experts in the field of cyber safety and prevention. Speakers include Carol Crews of the Faulkner County Prosecuting Attorney’s office; Kristina Carnes of the Arkansas Attorney General’s office; Detective Brian Williams of the Conway Police Department; and Circuit Judge Troy Braswell. This event is open to the public.
