18 Nov 2013 Conway Art Gallery plans children's classes
Conway Art Gallery has added a series of six beginning pencil art classes for children ages 8 to 13 years.
Travis Bond, a recent graduate of Harding University, will be leading the classes, which will be held 9 a.m. to noon on Saturdays, Nov. 23, through Dec. 28.
The cost is $10 per class. Reservations and payments must be made in advance. Class size is limited.
Art paper will be supplied, but artists must bring their own pencils (a 2b, B and a 4b) and a kneaded eraser.
Artists will leave with a completed work, a drawing that can be used as a Christmas present.
