25 Jan 2016 Children’s party at Harding
Women for Harding will hold a princess and super hero party from 9 to 11:30 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 30, in the Harding University Heritage Auditorium.
Children will be provided with crafts, snacks and games. Harding students will portray 19 princess- and super hero-themed characters and interact with guests throughout the morning.
“This is our third year for this event, and we are expecting a large crowd,” said Liz Howell, assistant to the president for parent and alumni relations. “Women for Harding scholarship recipients portray most of the characters, and we are very pleased that our corporate sponsors help us raise money for scholarships and give a great gift back to the community. The smiles on the faces of the students and the children make the event.”
The event will be held in American Heritage Auditorium of the David B. Burks American Heritage Building. Children are encouraged to dress in costumes, and a parade of characters will begin at 9 a.m.
Tickets are available at all Searcy locations of First Security Bank, the Harding Academy elementary office, Harding alumni office, RadioShack, Sassy Stitch and The Tangerine Turtle.
Tickets are $10 for children 2 years and older, free for children under 2, and $5 for adults.
